The Colorado river runs right through Austin, TX and is beloved by many–myself included. It serves as a getaway for numerous people working in the city that need a piece of beautiful nature to recharge.

During uncharacteristically bleak weather–quite uncommon for this city–the river and its surrounding fauna transform into an entirely different stage. I try to capture the underlying grimness of the desolate feelings it evokes.
